peaceful retreat near stunning landscapes and local history

I loved how beautifully situated the hotel was, making it easy to explore nearby attractions like St Breock Downs Monolith, just over 2 km away, and Wadebridge and District Museum, only around 4 km away, which I enjoyed visiting during my weekend strolls. the staff were very accommodating and always ready to help with any questions I had about local landmarks.

Consider asking for spa treatment recommendations as they can vary in quality. some are really enjoyable while others may not meet expectations.

Consider requesting your dinner options ahead of time to avoid any surprises. The local cuisine offers unique flavors worth trying.

the staff were super friendly and helped us a lot. the room was very clean and spacious, and the garden views were lovely. the pool area was really relaxing and clean too....  

The hotel features beautifully landscaped grounds that provide a serene atmosphere, while the facilities are impressive, including a well-maintained pool and gym. The staff were friendly and promptly assisted with my needs, making my business stay more efficient...  

The room was really spacious and comfy, with a super comfy bed. The bathroom was big and clean, which I loved! It had a nice vibe overall, and the amenities were spot on. Got warm breakfast included too, which was a bonus. There were some connectivity issues with the Wi-Fi though.

Our family had a lovely time here, enjoying the spacious family room and a refreshing afternoon by the pool. The hotel offers great options for relaxation, including a spa and a heated pool. It would’ve been nicer if reception had a more welcoming setup as you arrive, but it didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment! 😄

Lovely stay, but food could be better

I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious my Superior King Room was! Had a lovely balcony, but it looked a bit neglected. The gym had good facilities, but felt a tad worn out. Enjoyed the outdoor dining area, but the food options were limited—just takeout and not many healthy choices. The stay was nice overall!

Charming, Charming, Charming

I adored my stay in the spacious Family Room, with views of lovely garden scenery right outside my window! The relaxing spa area provided the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Don’t even get me started on their scrumptious dining...  

We had a wonderful stay, enjoying the spacious room with a massive bathroom and a comfy bed. The lovely swimming pool was a perfect way to relax after a long day! I would definitely come back again!

The beautifully landscaped grounds offered lovely strolls, perfect for admiring nature. I appreciated the accessible pathways that made walking enjoyable, and the serene atmosphere was just divine for relaxation....
